Our Purpose

Our Vision

To see every believer, who calls Fraser Coast Baptist Church their home, actively and consistently living out God’s purposes in their life, so that they would further comprehend the width, length, breadth and depth of God’s love.

Our Mission

To EXALT the name of Jesus and EQUIP the saints at Fraser Coast Baptist Church so that every individual believer can faithfully EDIFY and guide their neighbour into the pursuit of living out God’s purposes in their own life.

Our Motto

You’ll notice in the mission that the goal is to live by our motto:

Exalt, Equip, Edify

Our Values

While ministering to the people of Hervey Bay, in order to facilitate our edifying, the goal is to provide an environment where anyone from anywhere at any time, feels welcomed and loved by FCBC so that God’s invitation to follow His design for their life is not impeded in any way, shape or form.

Therefore, our values are of utmost importance:

PEACE   |   ACCEPTANCE   |   LOVE

PEACE

We desire to be a church that not just looks for opportunities to offer peace WITH God as every believer possesses already, but to continually demonstrate the peace OF God so that nothing other than the invitees’ pride is getting in the way of them accepting God’s free gift of salvation.

ACCEPTANCE

Our heart is for ALL people. As all people are loved by Jesus, we desire to bring the broken-hearted (regardless of age, gender or race) into an everlasting relationship with their Saviour, Maker and Lord and onto the path that God has designed for them in this world till we reach our heavenly Home. Therefore, we aim for everyone, who comes through our doors, to feel welcomed and accepted. It doesn’t mean we may condone that person’s behaviours – we just accept them for who they are.

LOVE

If anything is done by Fraser Coast Baptist Church, it will be done out of love, Lord willing. If there is no love as a motive for ministering or serving, then we are nothing! Everything we do is in vain if there is no love. We actually encourage you to call us out on it.
